what there is about originality

I'm sorry to be posting a video fully spoken in portuguese, and i know some of you might not understand but i'll comment it in english. When I created this blog i was willing to give you more images than words and show someone's work but i dont think it's fair enough to comment about or criticize one's life, art or tastes because if people are genetically unique, so are their tastes. But now i've found something to write about. I'm a bit worried about the fashion mentality (or should i say conscience) in Portugal. This is only my opinion, but i'll take my chance and say that Portugal is still living in the stone age. A lot of people think like this too. There is still prejudice from older people who can't stand piercings, dyed hair, uncommon clothes (meaning cool clothes ahahaha). Portugal is still an old country and its inhabitants (not only the old), are still old fashioned on what concerns what's different or new. Young or old, pleople still see homossexuality as a forbidden issue too. I'm still hoping things can change for these people and there is a minority who can and is starting to do something to change it. Fortunately.

What i really want is to say that no matter how excentric, "different", original you are, you're still going to be on the sidewalk, showing yourself off, making a point, stating that you're there ready to extermine someone's prejudices. People read so many things about racism, suprematism, -isms and -isms, and they always forget about the people that surround them, about the person they just saw walking down the street, etc and they keep commenting about their looks and/or sexual preference.

Now i'm not willing to write anymore.

ps: Filipe and his boyfriend look gorgeous on the video!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

Now it's time to change!
